REFLEXOLOGY 2ND LEVEL
You will learn to Stimulate and Soothe the various “reflex zones” of the feet to rebalance them, to understand where to intervene by doing a careful analysis and evaluation of the foot.
After taking the first level reflexology course, you will learn that there are many areas on the foot that according to their somatization have special meaning. We will use many references to temperature, colour of the foot, the presence or absence of corns, calluses, dryness of most areas, etc…

Feet (and human body) constitution
Each foot has its own shape and that depends very much on the constitution of the person! That means that a robust person will have a “robust foot”, while a thin person will have a “skinny foot”. However, when we are faced with the presence of thin feet (which are always represents the real constitution of the person) and an overweight subject, in that case it means that the person is going through a period where stress induces to eat more and then to accumulate more fat on the body…
Presence of foot calluses
You will find that each callus has its reason to exist. Obviously depending on where the callus shows up on the foot, there will body tensions responsible to stir the skin and create the callus. Some years ago, I wrote a wonderful article that was in hype and I invite you to read it, it is called “the callus of discord.”
Here is a simple summary of it:
- Slender foot: if the person is thin then there is harmony, otherwise if the person is overweight there is an imbalance
- Swollen foot: it indicates a swelling of the body … otherwise, it is related to STOMACH
- Robust Foot: it indicates strong constitution, otherwise you have to treat well the LIVER
Feet partridge eyes
The “feet partridge eyes” are painful calluses formed between feet fingers. What to do then? Take them off? Absolutely no! I remind you that they are not responsible for the pain as they consist of skin now “dead” but from nervous capillary presence below it. This nervous capillary is often “very tense”, or nevertheless hypersensitive). If massaged for 5-10 minutes it will relax and during the following days the pain that was of 100 intensity, diminishes until it reaches 10 intensity and finally disappears altogether within a few months … (often within one month if two weekly foot reflexology treatments are carried out!

Plantar reflexology evaluation card
“Finger pressure” pain on the plantar part
Who ignores reflexology (in the sense that ignores the real causes or simply he is not aware) thinks that if during a session of reflexology the patients does not feel pain anywhere then the person is hale and hearty. Actually, the plantar finger pressure pain is just one of the many energy assessment technique references for foot health and therefore the person! In fact, you will have to take in account a multitude of signs of interpretation to be sure to make an accurate and correct “diagnosis” (obviously, diagnosis does not mean a medical diagnosis)
Presence of foot crooked fingers
A simple foot crooked finger is not to be neglected. In fact, it is a definite connection to the vertebrae of the spine. Representing a small diagram below here is what we find:
- Hallux Finger: connected with CERVICAL vertebrae
- Second finger: connected with BACKBONE vertebrae
- Third finger: connected with LUMBAR vertebrae
- Fourth finger: connected with the SACRAL vertebrae
- Fifth finger: connected with COCCYGEAL vertebrae
What does all this mean? Here revealed the secret hidden in the feet toes: as mentioned in the paragraph above if the hallux finger is connected with the cervical, a sprain of the first toe indicates that at cervical level most likely there are tensions which will be no longer then treated in reflexology, but with Spinal Technique that I strongly recommend to you. The same is also true for the other fingers. So crooked toes are indicative of spinal cord tensions.
However, what if the feet toes are crooked?
Nothing serious for the fingers, rather it is only a “signal” that the corresponding vertebrae are strongly tense! Nevertheless, there is another far more important link as each vertebral group has its spinal nerve branches that once compressed send pain or other alteration messages to the corresponding body areas. Let us see them one by one:
- The Cervical have a link with SHOULDERS
- The Dorsal have a link with ARMS
- The Lumbers have a link with KNEES
- The Sacral have a link with THIGHS
- The coccyx has a connection with HIPS

Connections with “toenails”
Check which nail is more thickened or ruined. They could also have a mycosis problem. Depending on the concerned finger, stimulate the entire module belonging to that finger:
- Nail of the 1st finger: Stimulate heart- intestines – pituitary and thyroid
- Nail of the second finger: Stimulate Stomach – Spleen – Pancreas- lymphatic tracks
- Nail of the 3rd finger: Stimulate lungs – large intestine – ovaries / testicles – uterus/ Prostate
- Nail of the fourth finger: Stimulate Liver and gall bladder
- Nail of the 5th finger: Stimulate Rene- surrene- ureter-bladder
How to approach the customer for a Foot Reflexology assessment?
The first thing to do is definitely not hit the ground saying, “you have this, this and this.” The person would be closed like a clam and it is not for sure what we want. The approach to diagnosis is a very sensitive subject that will be fully explored in the live training or for our online guests by accessing the video-course of reflexology 2nd level where this aspect also is well explained!

We’ve prepared a few step by step demonstration videos to let you discover how to immediately put these techniques into practise.
